Microsoft released a patch for DoS attacks on servers
Microsoft has launched its traditional patch package that will do no less than 25 vulnerabilities - some already exploited, but many still undiscovered by attackers. According to the company's tradition, starting in 2003, Microsoft releases security updates on the second Tuesday of each month. One of the 11 security patches released today, ranked as "Important", will solve the problem of DoS (Denial of Service) discovered in versions of Exchange Server (2000, 2003, 2007 and 2010), while the other two will suites fix vulnerabilities in Office XP, 2003 and 2007. The other eight updates, five of which considered "critical" solve problems of Windows, versions affected are Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7, Server 2003 and Server 2008 (R2). At least seven of the 11 patches will require restarting the computer.
